Founded in 1954 by the Religious Missionaries of St. Dominic, Dominican International School Kaohsiung (DISK) has officially expanded its campus infrastructure with a modern facility designed to support holistic, faith-centered education and international academic standards.

Historical Background & Vision
The campus expansion plan was initiated by the former school principal +Sr. Zenaida Ancheta, who presented the project to the delegates of the 2022 Provincial Chapter. Following its adoption and approval by the General Curia, the expansion was implemented in stages:
 

• Stage 1 (Convent Construction): Completed in November 2024.

• Stage 2 (Academic Building): Construction commenced in June 2024 and reached full completion in April 2026.

• Funding: The project was financed through the support of Dominican International School Taipei and the Province of San Vicente Ferrer.

Recent Campus Milestones

• 2022: Completion of the outdoor athletic field.

• 2025: Secured ACS WASC accreditation and official membership in the Council of International Schools (CIS).

• 2026: Inauguration and completion of the new modern academic building.
