Blessed Imelda School was founded by the priest of the Holy Rosary Province of the Order of Preachers in 1916. It is the first Catholic Girls' School in Taiwan. Its mission is to provide a Catholic education molding its students to a profound knowledge and a well-balanced personality with an emphasis not only on academic excellence but also on moral development.
 
BIS is designated by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan for teaching high quality English instruction, with emphasis on globalization, the integration of computer technology in teaching, foreign language learning, and fostering cultural exchange through its International exchange program.

Dominican International School offers a modified American Curriculum for primary, middle and secondary students; with English as medium of instruction in all classes. It was previously a United States Government (D.O.D.) a designated school for military dependents of the United States Forces. In 1979, with the withdrawal of the American Forces from Taipei, DIS became an international school that allows the admission of students of all nationalities. DIS is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC, USA).

Is the first Mission  on  the Island of Guam through  the invitation of the late Bishop Felixberto Flores. The pioneers stayed with the Notre Dame Sisters while they were teaching at San Vicente School in Barrigada. Aiming to serve the people of Guam in the field of education, the Sisters found a day care center owned by a private person who sold the whole property. On March 9, 1983 the Sisters formally took over the center and named it Dominican Child Development Center.
 
Dominican Child Development Center is a Christ-centered community
working in partnership with families to instill our Catholic Faith.
We aim to: 
Teach each individual child so that he/she may grow in the understanding and love of God .
Work in partnership with parents and the local Community to provide a high-quality education
Give our students the opportunity to realize their potential and develop their full uniqueness.
Nurture a sense of service, and to challenge academically the next generation who will be leaders in our Global society.
